Meet Our Staff

Derrick Barney

Managing Owner

I grew up playing sports but didn’t really get into weightlifting seriously until after high school. The more I hit the gym the more addicted I got to lifting. I never wanted to compete in bodybuilding shows, but my goal was to be one of the biggest and strongest dudes around. I trained several years for powerlifting and strongman events, but unfortunately never competed due to injuries. My focus in life now is to dedicate my time to helping others learn about lifting, supplements and nutrition.

Marissa Alford

Owner

As a kid I was very active and involved with many sports. When I went off to college I chose not to participate in any sports and concentrate on my degree instead. I wanted to still stay active and that’s how I fell in love with weightlifting. I loved how healthy I felt as a result and chose to start competing in natural bodybuilding shows. I now have a pro card in the NGA and NABBA. Opening Stacked has given me the opportunity to help people learn about supplements, exercising and overall nutrition. I love helping others and educating them with what knowledge I have.

Cory Alford

Owner

I grew up playing sports my whole life which eventually merged into me working out. I have been working out and taking supplements since the early 2000’s and I am very passionate about what I do as far as exercise and educating others. I have taken nutrition classes, and was a certified personal trainer and training manager at a local gym. I am always looking to better myself and continue to educate myself in order to answer any and all questions you may have!
